Harold "Jerry" Heuke

Funeral Services for Harold “Jerry” Heuke, 71 of Louisville will be held Thursday, 2 p.m. June 3, 2021 at Crestwood Baptist Church with visitation from 1 p.m. until service time. Funeral services in Louisville will be held Friday, 2 p.m., June 11, 2021 at Shively Baptist Church, 1599 Sadie Ln, Louisville KY 40216 with visitation from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will be at a later date. Jerry was a resident of Louisville and a retired forklift operator with General Electric. Jerry was a member of Shively Baptist Church and attended Southeast Christian Church where he was a member of the Mastermen and enjoyed playing the trumpet with Shively Baptist Church. Jerry enjoyed music, fishing, model trains, art and history. Jerry was an alumnus of Butler High School and attended Campbellsville College. He was awarded a scholarship at Georgetown College for music. He was a member of the Music City Christian Fellowship and performed in the Choir Chorale at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN. Jerry served his country by serving in the National Guard as a Military Police Officer and head cook. Jerry was the son of Charles H. Heuke and Susie E. Heuke. He was preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, Charles F. Heuke and Florence M. Heuke; maternal grandparents, James Harvey Phillips and Oma E. Phillips; father-in-law Harold Pierce, brother-in-law Tom H. Pierce, uncles Brother Blaise “Joe” Joseph Heuke and David Heuke. Survivors include his wife Martha Heuke, son Aaron Heuke, daughter April Lynn Heuke, brother Phil Heuke (Brenda), sisters Becky Walton (Bill), Debi Archer (Ron), Tammy Hatcher (Chris), mother-in-law Aleda B. Pierce; nieces and nephews Brian (Amanda), Todd (Brittany), Kimberly (Tim), Jason (Sara), Amanda (Shelby), Jennifer (Scott), Wesley, Megan (Ben), Ryan and Haylee; great nieces and great nephews, Brooklyn, Ethan, Dylan, Jarrett, Sarah, Cody, Emily, Lewis, Alister, Eli, Woods, Ezra, Caroline, Ruby, Rosie and Rowan.
