Ruth Ann Loy

Ruth Ann Loy Funeral mass for Ruth Ann Loy, 75, Frankfort, who passed away Thursday June 10, at Frankfort Regional Medical center following a long illness, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday June 15, at Good Shepherd Church. Father Charles Howell will officiate and burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A native of Nelson County, she was a graduate of Bethlehem High School in Bardstown and attended Louisville Beauty College. She worked in retail sales and was a licensed hair dresser, but devoted most of her life to her family. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Frankfort, KY. She was the daughter of the late Joe Ed and Louise Wilhite Bell. She was also preceded in death by a sister. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Harold Oakley Loy. two daughters, Kathryn Louise Parrish and Dr. Elizabeth Diane Loy both of Louisville, two sons, Mark (Bonnie) Kevin Loy and James Harold Loy of Frankfort; five grandchildren, Heidi Rebecca Loy, Ashley Ann Parrish, Kevin(Angela) Scott Loy, Heather Elizabeth Loy and Kayla Sue Loy and four great grandchildren, Scott Andrew Loy, Olivia Kathryn Nalley, Izzasbel Grace Clark and Aubrey Nicole Loy. She is survived by a sister Betty Jean Hall of Cox’s Creek, Ky., three nieces and two nephews. Pallbearers are Kevin Loy, Butch Smith, Gene Logue, Robie Hall, Mickey Wilhite and Toby Clark. Visitation will be held Monday, June 14, from 3:00pm -8:00pm., at LeCompte-Johnson-Taylor Funeral Home,1725 Louisville Road, Frankfort, KY.
