Ilene Marie Shamas

September 24, 1954 - January 31, 2021

Ilene Marie Shamas, 66, passed away on Sunday at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia and had recently moved to Frankfort to be closer to her sister and her niece, Rosalie (Jeremy) Rogers and family. Ilene is survived by her brother, Mark D. Shamas, and sister, Laura L. Shamas. She is also survived by her very dear friends, Lindley and Nancy Zink, her Goddaughter, Keri Zink, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and grand nephews and nieces. Ilene was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara F. Shamas, and two brothers, Jeff L. Shamas and Rick M. Shamas. No service is planned at this time.
