Josiah James Vasquez

Josiah James Vasquez of Frankfort, Kentucky went home to be with our Lord and Savior on September 2, 2023. He was born on March 11, 1998, in Phoenix, Arizona to Micaela Vasquez and paternal father Rodolfo Frisby Ruiz. Josiah was loved and will be greatly missed by so many especially his pride and joy, his daughter Lily Mae “Jojo”. The bond they shared will live on forever. Melissa Goodman and Josiah have had such a great supportive team of grandparents, Aunts and Uncles helping them in raising Lily, and we will continue that love and support. Josiah will be greatly missed by his mother, Micaela Vasquez, step-father Armando Quinonez Sr. and paternal father Rodolfo Frisby Ruiz, along with his loving sisters Andrea Quinonez, Marianna Quinonez, Brandi Quinonez, brother Armando Quinonez Jr, Grandparents Maria and Timothy Settle, Blas and wife Diony Vasquez, Uncle's Tony Vasquez and wife Kim, James Vasquez and his significant other Cheryl Metzger, Blas and wife Tiffany Vasquez, Aunt Cecilla Montalvo and her significant other Aaron Combs and special uncles Simon Quinonez and Alfred Montalvo. Josiah loved his siblings with his whole heart and had a close bond with his cousins and loved them all very much. Josiah enjoyed making others laugh, and spending quality time with his baby girl Lily, and he had a deep connection with and great love for his mother. Josiah enjoyed drawing, making hilarious home videos with his siblings and had a love for animals, especially his pit bulls! He will always be remembered for his kind heart, loving smile and just being a blessing to everyone. Josiah is reunited in heaven with his beloved grandmother Antonia Montalvo, his Uncle Simon Quinonez. ‭ Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭35‬, ‭37‬-‭39‬ “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” A public viewing for Josiah will be held Wednesday, Sept 13, 2023, from 11am-1pm at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home, 1725 Louisville Rd, Frankfort, KY. Funeral will be held immediately following. A meal will be served, and all friends are welcome to attend to be with the family.
