Harold “Hal” Taylor - Hal is a Shelby County native, graduating in 1979. He worked with his family at Hall-Taylor Funeral Home for over ten years before moving to Frankfort, to fulfill his dream of owning a funeral home. He purchased LeCompte-Johnson Funeral Home in 1995 after working for Mr. LeCompte for two years. Hal and his wife, Valerie live in Frankfort along with their three children.

Valerie Taylor - Valerie is a licensed funeral director and has owned the funeral home along with her husband since 1995. She is a native of Princeton, KY and graduated from Western Kentucky University with a nursing degree in 1983.

James “Jim” Johnson - Known to many as “Baby Johnson” he is a native of Jenkins, KY, and a retired educator and sports official. He decided in 1984 to join the funeral business with Paul LeCompte. Mr. Johnson received his funeral director’s license in 1988. He is a life time member of the VFW and U of K Alumni Association and a member of First Baptist Church. He follows UK Wildcats religiously. Jim and wife, Jean live in Frankfort.

Paul LeCompte is a life long funeral director and embalmer. He received his dual license in 1965 and has been working in the funeral industry for over 40 years. He started his career in his native Shelby County and moved to Frankfort in 1978 when he decided to build this funeral home. Paul and his wife, Betty live in Frankfort and attend Bridgeport Christian Church.

Veda White – Veda is a native of Manchester, KY. After retiring from Lexington-Fayette Urban Co. Government, she attended mortuary school. She received her funeral director/embalmer’s license in 2007 and began working here in 2008. She lives in Versailles.

Kendall “Ken” Butler - Ken worked in Frankfort as a pharmacist for 30 years. After retiring from pharmacy, he joined the funeral home in 1998. Ken and his wife, Nancy live in Frankfort.

Cheryl Sandefur - A native of Louisville, Cheryl and her husband have lived in Frankfort since 1992. Cheryl graduated from Kentucky State University in 1992 with a degree in Liberal Arts. Cheryl joined the funeral home in 2005. She is the office assistant and computer analyst.
